WID and the UW-Madison School of Journalism and Mass Communication are bringing the popular, international science communication conference ScienceOnline to the campus and local community.
This annual conference in the Research Triangle area of North Carolina gathers together scientists, students, educators, physicians, journalists, librarians, bloggers, programmers and others interested in the way the World Wide Web is changing the way science is communicated, taught and done.
This watch party is free and open to the public for the UW–Madison campus. Participants will have access to live conference video streams and foster group-oriented discussions as a part of the larger ScienceOnline conversation.
We encourage undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, staff, local professionals and anyone interested in the topic to attend.
