A Taste of Virtual Reality
WID’s Living Environments Laboratory (LEL) will be offering four free 30-minute public CAVE tours in coordination with the February Saturday Science. During your 30-minute visit, you will have the opportunity to experience virtual reality first-hand and learn about the research being done by the Living Environments Laboratory. Be ready to be transported to other worlds when you test out the Oculus Rift head-mounted display and step into the 10x10x10 foot CAVE. You will leave imagining the possibilities.
You must be able to independently walk up six steps for the tour. The tours depart promptly at scheduled times, so please arrive five minutes early to ensure your spot. Please contact us if you have any questions. If you are unable to attend this tour, please feel free to subscribe to our email list to learn more about future public CAVE tours.
