Amitrava Das was born in upstate New York, raised in Bangalore India, did undergraduate work in Manchester England, and came to Wisconsin for graduate school. Research Description

Amitrava Das works on improving T-cell immunotherapy by using mathematical modeling to understand it and make predictions, better genome editing technologies to make it more applicable to solid tumors and clinical trial design to make it more accessible to people with illnesses. He uses Julia to do simulations and thinks it is awesome. He works with Christian Capitini in Pediatrics and Pilar Ossorio, bioethicist in residence in the Morgridge Institute.
