Nolan is a proud graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a broad interest in science and background in social science research. He loves to tell the story of science and be a part of the narrative of discovery. As a communications specialist for WID, he enjoys writing for wid.wisc.edu, connecting researchers across disciplines, and doing his part to fulfill the Wisconsin Idea. Nolan also works as the events manager at WID, coordinating and supporting both internal and external events for WID faculty and employees.
In his free time, Nolan enjoys sailing on Madison’s beautiful lakes, bicycling, backpacking, camping, reading a good book (preferably outside), spoiling his dog, and taking advantage of the wonderful things Madison has to offer.
