About
Tam Nguyen grew up in a coastal city in Vietnam before moving to Singapore for high school. She then relocated to the States for college. Tam graduated from the University of Louisiana-Monroe with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology major and Computer Science minor. She enjoys visiting art museums, traveling, cooking and watching movies in her free time.

Research Description
Tam's research focuses on how immersive 3D experiences in virtual reality (VR) increase students' interest in science. What motivates students to try out VR lessons? How to customize and personalize VR experiences for learners' with different exploration styles? She also works on the development of these immersive environments in Blender and Unity.
