A recent article in Genetic Engineering & Biotechnology News by DeeAnn Visk, Ph.D., features BIONATES investigator Kris Saha. He discusses how High Content Analysis (HCA) is used in analyzing DNA edited with CRISPR-Cas9 techniques and processed in multiwell plates with mini-wells. The high throughput process for analysis may help elucidate the “mechanism of action for drug candidates”. Visk’s article also discusses other uses for HCA and the benefit it brings to researchers and ultimately the public good. Not only does High Content Analysis have a full dance card, the dances themselves are getting faster and more precise.  These are exciting breakthroughs – join us in the dance.
