Lauren Sarko was raised in rural Connecticut, but now calls the Bay Area home. As an undergraduate at Pennsylvania State University she studied Biology with an emphasis in vertebrate physiology. When not in the research lab, she enjoys hiking, spending time with friends and her cat Ruth.
