Rubaya Rashid is an Honorary Associate at the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery, University of Wisconsin–Madison, and a postdoctoral researcher at Texas Southern University. Her research investigates cellular stress responses to low-dose X-ray irradiation in human macrophages and B lymphocytes using quantitative imaging and biophysical analysis. Previously at Kyoto University, she studied collective force generation by molecular motors and cytoskeletal filaments.
