Discovery Building Launches New Website

After nearly a year of planning and careful construction, the Discovery Building on the UW-Madison campus unveiled its new website. The site was developed by the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation and  Coulee Creative, with input from the building’s tenants, the Morgridge Institute for Research and the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery. The new site fully captures the form and function of the award-winning building with easy to navigate mobile-friendly sections of interest.

Visitors may access WID through the research tab on the new discovery.wisc.edu website as well as directly through wid.wisc.edu.

This launch completes the web redesigns of the three entities in the Discovery Building and further delineates the activities and goals of each. The site features the diverse events offered by WARF and the Institutes in the Town Center located on the ground floor of the building. This includes the popular Saturday Science Series which has an event on March 5th: Saturday Science: Aldo Leopold Day. The Town Center is open to the public and has reservable spaces popular for meetings and other events. Visitors may tweet about events in the building by tagging @DiscoveryBldg and can check in with Facebook at The Wisconsin Institutes for Discovery Building.

The website has portals for both the Morgridge Institute for Research and the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery. Each tenant also contributes to the news section.
